Iona Mae (Runyan)Stubbs McKinney, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Iona was born in Sullivan, Indiana on April 17, 1928 to the late Charles and Thelma (Dyke) Runyman. She attended school in Pamento and graduated from Bosse High School in 1946. Iona worked as an Auditor for the Executive Inn and River House Hotel. She enjoyed dancing, reading and watching movies and game shows. Iona valued her family and dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Iona is survived by her sons, Michael Stubbs (Velinda) of Evansville, IN, Timothy Stubbs of Newburgh, IN, Patrick Stubbs of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, T.J. Stubbs, Tara Ford, Noah Stubbs, Katie Stubbs and 4 great grandchildren. Iona was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stubbs in 1963 and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, Indiana 47711 with Sister Jenny Miller officiating.
