Donald "Don" Ray Snodgrass, 73, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. Don was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 24, 1939 to the late Leslie Earl and Georgia (Marlin) Snodgrass. He worked on the loading dock at Emge Packing Plant for 20 years. Don enjoyed playing with his dog, Jake, bowling, fishing and watching sports on TV. He also loved spending time with his family, he will be attending his granddaughter, Sarah's graduation from Heaven. Don is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Joy Daily (Terry); sons, Robert Gene Kirk (Bonnie) and Thomas Lee Kirk; loving companion, Judy Morse; sisters, Mary Jo Pierce, Phyllis Durham, Sue McFarland, Sandra Barton, Georgetta Durham, all of Evansville, IN, and sister, Jean Butterrow of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Leslie Earl Snodgrass Jr., Gary Snodgrass, Richard Snodgrass, Terry Snodgrass, all of Evansville, IN and brother, Timothy Snodgrass of FL; grandchildren, Justin, Nathan, Jacob, Sarah, Josh, Amy, Chris, Brad, Benjamin, Brittany and Athina and 9 great-grandchildren. Don is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ava Joyce (Woods) Snodgrass, who passed away in 1991; and his sisters, Paula Jo Durham and Nancy Ellen Snodgrass. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 16, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue Evansville, IN 47711. Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Monday at Browning Funeral Home.
