Hobert was a United States Army Veteran. He loved his pets. He is survived by: brother, Leon Smith, sister, Evon Rager, niece, Audrey Johnson and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Cova (Fulkerson) Smith, sisters, Imogene Fulkerson, Darline Schroyer and a brother, Sleigh Smith. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be no services at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue Evansville, IN 47711.
