Obituary:Pearlie L. "Jean" (Dunnigan) Tutt, 88, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at her home.
Jean was born in Providence, Kentucky on February 23, 1924 to the late Taylor and Bertha (Pressley) Dunnigan. She worked at St. Mary's Medical Center for thirteen years as a nurses aid. Jean enjoyed fishing at Lake Barkley, riding four-wheelers and working in the yard. She faithfully attended New Hope Baptist Church in Cadiz, Kentucky and The Cathedral - Bible Center in Evansville. She loved her church families and enjoyed reading the Bible. Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Jean is survived by her three sons, Gerald T. "Jerry" Tutt (Susan), Clyde E. Tutt (Suzanne), Roger D. Tutt (Pat), all of Evansville; sister, Patty Bowling (Roger) of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Gerald Tutt II, Tracy Keeney, Jeff Tutt, David Tutt and Julie Godsey; great-grandchildren, Whitney Tutt, Taylor Tutt, Jennifer Tutt, Mallorie Tutt, McKena Tutt, Zack Tutt, Megan Keeney, Michael Robinson, Paige Godsey, Preston Godsey, Andrew Godsey, Eliza Finn and Sara Jo Powell; great-great grandchildren, Landyon Baxter, and Cameron Robinson.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 43 years, William E. Tutt in 1984.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN with Pastor Julie Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the G.L.A.D. Adoption Agency, 5000 N. First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.
