Obituary:James D. Vincent, 74, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital.
James was born in Bremen, Kentucky on September 22, 1937 to the late Henry and Juanita (Sallee) Vincent. He retired from American National Can as a department manager in 1994 after 40 years of service.
James loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons and great grandsons. He enjoyed camping, traveling and shooting trap and skeet.
James is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edna (Anderson) Vincent of Evansville, IN; daughter, Rhonda Vincent of Evansville, IN; son, Daniel Vincent (Debbie) of Petersburg, IN; sister, Saundra Flemings (Jesse) of Greenville, KY; brother, Perry Vincent (Janie) of Greenville, KY; grandchildren, Joshua Vincent (Vanessa) of Orlando, FL, Kelly Vincent of Boonville, IN; great-grandsons, Wyatt Vincent and Gage Vincent; several nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Janice Mills, Lou Katherine Garst, and a grandson, Brock Vincent.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47711 with Pastor Jack Feldbusch officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home and from 12:00 noon until service time on Saturday.
